Mrs. Nadine Halabi
Coordinator of Dubai Business Women Council
Nadine Halabi has been the Coordinator of the Dubai Business Women Council since August 2011. Since then, she has been managing the overall operations of the exclusive council, coordinating the high profile board members, its stakeholders and members in line with the values, visions and missions as set out by its President, Mrs. Raja Al Gurg.
Nadine’s career spans more than 15 years as she began her career with a teaching position after completing her studies. She taught English literature, grammar and writing to students of grades 10, 11and 12 and prepared students for the TOEFL and SAT and trained on writing skills through different forms of essays; that included analytical essays, comparative writing, creative writing, argumentative essays and research papers.
She later took on a management role in another school, based in Bahrain, where she was in charge of the marketing and academic systems including admission procedures and liaison with compliance management. Nadine also worked on the reputation and image management of the school through public relations exercises and on-ground events.
In 2007, Nadine joined Microsoft Bahrain as an Office Manager where she ensured adherence to Microsoft’s Global Brand compliances, assisted the Marketing & Communications divisions with their corporate communications requirements and managed various administrative duties.
Prior to her joining the DBWC, she worked with a PR and Events management company in Bahrain, where she flourished in a senior role as Deputy General Manager. During her tenure she was the head of business operations including office administration and human resource management and formulated and implemented the organization’s business strategy which lead to reaching its outlined objectives.
Her years of experience have led her to exceptional skills within the Human Resources industry, Administration, Turn-key Project Management, Public Relations, Event Management and Business CRM.
Nadine holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Teaching Diploma of English as a foreign language from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.
